History of BPA
History of BPA
The Building Performance Association was created through the merger of Efficiency First, Home Energy Magazine, and the Home Performance Coalition (previously Affordable Comfort, Inc. and the National Home Performance Council). Home Energy Magazine began sharing critical insights into home performance in the mid-1980s, while Affordable Comfort, Inc. launched its first conference in 1986, pioneering the education and networking that built the movement. Today, the Association continues this legacy of advocacy, collaboration, and education to strengthen the home performance industry.
